Rocket To Russia

On this date in 1977, The Ramones released their third album, Rocket To Russia. It contained the singles, "Rockaway Beach" (#66 U.S.), "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker" (#22 U.K., #81 U.S.) and "Do You Wanna Dance?" (#86 U.S.). The album reached the #49 spot on the U.S. albums chart and the #60 spot on the U.K. albums chart. The Queens, NY punk band disbanded in 1996.
